2005 – Ozzy Osbourne’s wife, Sharon, denies stories that her husband has Parkinson’s Syndrome and she also questioned whether such a neurological disorder even exists.

2002 – Metallica’s James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Lars Ulrich and producer Bob Rock take the stage for a surprise gig at the Club Kimo in San Francisco, going under the name Spun.
June 5:
1977 – Alice Cooper’s pet boa constrictor was bitten by a rat it was trying to eat, and died. Cooper held a public audition to replace the snake, which was featured in his act.
1991 – Firehouse releases the single “Love Of A Lifetime.”

1989 - Singer Ray Gillen, along with ex-Ozzy axeman Jake E. Lee release their self-titled debut collaboration called Badlands.
1996 – Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee and wife Pamela Anderson welcome their first child, Brandon Thomas Lee.
2002 – Ratt guitarist Robbin Crosby dies at the age of 42. Although the guitarist was battling HIV/AIDS for seven years, it was reported on the VH1 show “Ratt: Behind The Music,” that he actually died of a heroin overdose in his California apartment.

1984 - Lita Ford releases Dancing On The Edge.
2000 – Twisted Sister reunite for the first time in 14 years for a triple threat of the band's biggest hits, in honor of industry mogul Jason Flom, the man instrumental in signing the band.

1984 – Night Ranger’s “Sister Christian” peaks at number five on the Pop Singles chart.

1999 – Pantera takes a ride on a float during the Dallas Stars’ Stanley Cup victory parade. The Texas-based band wrote the hockey team’s theme song.

2004 – Velvet Revolver’s Duff McKagan appears on the TV show “America’s Most Wanted” in connection with the unsolved murder of the woman who ran the website for his band Loaded. The woman was killed in her Los Angeles apartment in November 2002.

1985 – Queensryche releases the album “Rage For Order.”
1992 – Guns N’ Roses’ “November Rain” breaks into the Top 40.
1995 – Bon Jovi releases the album “These Days.”
1996 – Van Halen lead singer Sammy Hagar quits as frontman due to “creative differences.” On that same day, former frontman David Lee Roth began working with Van Halen again for some tracks for the band’s upcoming greatest hits collection.

1988 – Stryper releases the album “In God We Trust.”
2005 – The Twisted Sister DVD “Live at Wacken: The Reunion” is released.
June 29:
1985 – Heart’s “What About Love?” breaks into the Top 40.
1991 – Skid Row’s album “Slave To The Grind” debuts at number one on the Billboard album chart. It is the very first hard rock album to accomplish this feat.
June 30:
1977 – The first of two KISS comic books from Marvel Comics is released. The red ink used in the printing was said to contain small amounts of blood from each of the band members.
2004 – Great White frontman Jack Russell files a libel lawsuit against his former publicist. The singer claimed that after he fired the spokeswoman for allegedly lying to the media about the group, she threatened to tell the press the band was stealing money from the Station Family Fund if she didn’t get a severance package.
