The PLAY IT or SLAY IT is a segment that was introduced to Amplified listeners back in June of 1996 and here's how it works:

We play three songs back-to-back from a brand new album recently released by an artist or band that we already know and love. After hearing all three songs in their entireity, listeners are asked to vote PLAY IT if they like what they heard and SLAY IT if they don't.

DOKKEN - LIGHTNING STRIKES AGAIN

On the most recent edition of Amplified (Show 16), we introduced Dokken's new album "Lightning Strikes Again" as our newest Play It or Slay It. The three songs featured on the show were POINT OF NO RETURN, JUDGEMENT DAY and HEART TO STONE. So what d you think? If you like what you heard and want to hear MORE, vote PLAY IT. If you didn't care for it and would rather not hear anything else from the album, vote SLAY IT. We'll have the final results for you on the next show.
